'Veruthe Oru Bharya' which opened in theatres this Friday, took a surprising opening registering 60 - 80 percent in all centers. This is a very good first day response as far as the present star power of Jayaram is concerned.

Added to that, the other positive news for the Star and Pyramid Saimira, its distributors is that the movie is carrying good world of mouth from the first day viewers and is sure to end up as a hit, the first hit for both in Malayalam after a long time.

The song ''Manjil kulikkum' in which Jayaram is imitating other super stars of Mollywood from Mammootty to Suresh Gopi, is quite a scream and all the viewers are clapping for the star from the start of this song to the end.

The movie which made to 32 centers in the state will open up in another 10 centers by the end of the first week.
