In keeping with the zeitgeist, a historical has been announced. It's 'Suvarna Sundari', coming with the caption "Charitra Bhavishyathu Ni Ventaduthundi" (The past is after the future).

Directed by Surya, it's being produced by ML Lakshmi of S.Team Pictures Banner.

The film's shoot is completed. Yesteryear screen actress Jayaprada is playing the film's most important role. "Her role is that of a bridge between past and future. She will be seen as Purna`s daughter and the emotional bonding between the two will be our film's major forte," the makers say.

The makers aver that Jayaprada`s role will be a complex one. Her character will be seen performing death-defying stunts in the climax portions. "Jayaprada garu offered to do the stunts out of conviction," the makers say.

The producer promises a visual delight. "We haven't taken into consideration any commercial calculations. We are planning to release the teaser soon. The film will be out in the second half of November," the producer says.

Besides Jayaprada and Purna, the film also features Sakshi Chowdary, Ram, Indra, Saikumar, Naginedu, Kota Srinivasa Rao, Mukhtar Khan, Avinash, etc in prominent roles. Music is by Sai Kartheek. The cinematography is by Elu Mahanti. Editing is by Pravin Pudi.
