Jayaprada: "Politics made me a stronger person"

Super actress Jayaprada is currently working on a Tamil movie called Keni` in which she plays an important role. She was interviewed about her role, politics and more.
“I have always been attracted to roles that connect to me on an emotional level. In this movie, I play an important role and my character hugely deals with water and so does the movie. Water crisis is an important issue in Uttar Pradesh, I know this because I have seen many women struggle for water in core villages of U.P” she explained about the role.
“When it comes to my movies and roles, I am quite picky. I love to portray the real me in these movies. I wear what I am comfortable in” she tells about her work style and choosing roles.
“I don`t think there`s any style statement in particular but I think I wear what suits me the best. Even in session meetings in the house\parliament, I am always asked to wear sarees. I never understand why. I like to wear long sweaters and cozy clothes to keep me covered and warm” she explained about hr fashion and style.
“I think politics has made ,me a stronger person and I have become intellectually and emotionally a better person after coming into politics. I used to stutter before but now I don`t. I can talk for hours very fluently” she explained about the changes she acquainted.
