Jayam Ravi’s Nimirndhu Nil is gearing up to release on March 7 The film is releasing in a gap of an year and a month after Ravi’s latest release Aadhi Bhagavan which was a commercial disaster.

This time Ravi has joined hands with director Samtuhirakani who has given back to back hits in Nadodigal and Poraali. As in Aadhi Bhagavan, Ravi plays dual role in this film as well. His second role in the film is expected to be much talked about post the release of the film, since it is of a 40+ year old man.

Speaking about his dual roles in Nimirndhu Nil, the Peraanmai actor said that it required a lot of physical effort to don both the roles which left him exhausted many times. Ravi, pleaded to the audience to respect the hard work and watch the film in theatres as token of respect to the hardwork employed by everyone in the team.

Nimirndhu Nil stars Amala Paul as the female lead. Sarathkumar, Meghna Raj and popular Television anchor Gopinath.form part of the supporting cast.
