Zombie Thriller Returns: Jayam Ravi Gears Up for 'Miruthan 2 with Shakti Soundar Rajan

Once more joining together for the much awaited sequel, "Miruthan 2," are Jayam Ravi and director Shakti Soundar Rajan. Already under pre-production, one of Kollywood's biggest production companies is working on the project. Starting in 2025, "Miruthan 2" is scheduled for shooting.

Being the first zombie thriller in Tamil cinema, the 2016 original "Miruthan" was a ground-breaking movie. Jayam Ravi's performance as a traffic police officer battling a zombie outbreak won him great praise. The movie set a high standard for zombie movies in India and became popular among viewers with its special mix of action, horror, and emotional aspects.

Fans of "Miruthan 2," the sequel promises to revive the exciting action and captivating plot that made the first movie successful. Jayam Ravi and Shakti Soundar Rajan's cooperation is intended to provide yet another unforgettable cinematic experience.

Apart from "Miruthan 2," Jayam Ravi is working on various future and continuing projects. Currently working on "Jana Gana Mana," under Ahmed's direction, he plays a dual character. Under Mani Ratnam's direction, another much awaited project is "Ponniyin Selvan: Part 2," in which Ravi plays Arulmozhivarman once more.

With these exciting projects in the pipeline, Jayam Ravi continues to be a prominent figure in the Tamil film industry, consistently delivering versatile and engaging performances.
