The trailer and audio of Yama Pasham, the Telugu version of the Tamil film Miruthan, was released yesterday in Hyderabad. The film is slated to be released on Feb 19 in both Tamil and Telugu. Natural Star Nani was the chief guest, who unveiled the audio. Speaking on the occasion, the KVPG star said that he wished Jayam Ravi will become a big star. "Ravi's film is releasing a week after mine. I wish that Yama Pasham will be a bigger hit than Krishnagaadi Veera Prema Gaadha. Many Tamil heroes have a good market in Telugu. Jayam Ravi too should now become a pan-South Indian star," Nani said.

Jayam Ravi said, "I belong to two languages. I have been wanting to debut in Telugu for long. Yama Pasham is a zombie film, that is, it belongs to a new genre. D Imman has given a very good music."

Shakti Soundar Rajan is the director. Lakshmi Menon is the female lead.

It is the first Indian zombie film.
