Two top actors on cards to replace Jayam Ravi in Kamal Haasan’s ‘Thug Life’? – Deets

‘Thug Life’ is a prestigious project in Tamil cinema which reunites the legends, Kamal Haasan and Mani Ratnam. Dulquer Salmaan, Jayam Ravi and a legion of stars onboarded this film. As the filming got delayed due to Kamal’s political works, DQ and Ravi opted out of the much-awaited movie.

In an interesting turn of events, fresh reports arrived today that Simbu will be replacing Dulquer Salmaan’s role in ‘Thug Life’. It is worth mentioning that ‘STR 48’ is produced by Ulaganayagan Kamal Haasan. Meanwhile, a hot buzz on the internet suggests two big stars are in talks to replace Jayam Ravi in the film. An official confirmation is awaited.

If the reports are to be believed, Arvind Swamy and Malayalam star Nivin Pauly are considered for this role. A final call is yet to be taken in this regard. ‘Thug Life’ also features Trisha, Joju George, Gautham Karthik, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nassar, Abhirami and others. The technical team comprises AR Rahman as the composer, Ravi K Chandran as the DOP and Sreekar Prasad as the editor.
