Jayam Ravi is one of the most sought-after heroes in the Tamil film industry, best known for his versatility. He, who plays the titular role in Mani Ratnam's epic 'Ponniyin Selvan', joined hands with director Kalyana Krishnan for the high octane action film 'Agilan - King of the Indian Ocean'.

Produced by Screen Scene Media Entertainment, the 'Agilan' shooting kickstarted in September 2021. Now, the latest news is that the makers have wrapped up the entire shooting of the movie after months of filming. They launched a making video of 'Agilan' titled ‘Voyage of Agilan’. It read, "A high octane action film shot extensively on the Indian Ocean."

The making video featured BTS videos from the shooting spot and also revealed that a teaser will be out in June. Touted to be an action thriller happening around the harbour, Priya Bhavani Shankar is the leading lady. We already updated you that Jayam Ravi will be playing a gangster role and Priya Bhavani Shankar will be seen as a police officer in 'Agilan'.

This gangster movie will explore the underworld of smugglers operating around the North Madras seaport. 'Agilan' also stars Tanya Ravichandran, Harish Uthaman, Hareesh Peradi, Sirag Johnny and Thamizh in important roles. Sam CS scores music for the film while the cinematography is handled by Vivek.
