Director Atlee has achieved the rare feat of delivering a hat-trick of blockbuster hits with Thalapathy Vijay namely 'Theri', 'Mersal' and 'Bigil'. Late last year Atlee had a meeting with Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan and it was said that the duo have signed a project together. Before the film could go on floors the coronavirus pandemic brought the world to a standstill and especially the movie industry is hit hard by it.

The latest buzz is that Atlee has decided to produce a new movie directed by one of his associates and has approached Jayam Ravi to play the lead role. It is said that talks are in advanced stages and will become official soon. More on this exciting project soon.

Jayam Ravi meanwhile has completed shooting for his 'Bhoomi' costarring Nidhhi Agerwal and is also playing the central character in Mani Ratnam's 'Ponniyin Selvan' costarring Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and Jayaram.
