Jayam Ravi is busy with back-to-back biggies after the mammoth success of 'Ponniyin Selvan'. He has director M Rajesh's 'Brother', Antony Bhagyaraj's 'Siren', Bhuvanesh Arjunan's 'Genie' and Mani Ratnam's 'Thug Life' in which he shares the screen with Kamal Haasan in his pipeline.

Now, Jayam Ravi has reunited with a young director after 5 years for a new movie. He delivered the super hit 'Adanga Maru' directed by the debutant Karthik Thangavel in 2018. They have teamed up again for a new project produced by Home Movie Makers but there are reports that AGS Entertainment is backing it.

According to DT Next, a source said, "The pre-production work of the film is taking place currently. It will be an action thriller. The film will go on floors in the summer of 2024 after Jayam Ravi completes his current commitments.” The director had approached multiple actors and production houses over these 5 years but they haven't worked out.
