The 'Ponniyin Selvan' stars Karthi and Jayam Ravi have some busy months ahead as they have consecutive film releases lined up. While Karthi has 3 movie releases in 3 months from Vinayagar Chathurthi to the Diwali race, Jayam Ravi is all set to clash with his co-star in the Diwali race.

Now, the sources tell us that the makers locked the title 'Iraivan' for 'JR29' and the movie is all set to join the Diwali race. 'Iraivan' will clash with Karthi's 'Sardar' at the box office. Jayam Ravi's 'Agilan' is scheduled to release on September 15 while 'Ponniyin Selvan 1' is slated to hit the screens on September 30.

Reported to be a thriller drama, 'Iraivan' also has Ashish Vidyarthi playing a key role as a cop. Yuvan Shankar Raja is scoring music for the film which is produced by Passion Studios. It is worth mentioning that Ajith Kumar's 'AK61' is expected to release on Diwali as well.
