Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara combo's first film 'Thani Oruvan' directed by Mohan Raja and costarring Arvind Swamy was not only a huge commercial hit but also has found its place as one of the best films in Tamil cinema. The duo are back together in a new movie titled 'Iraivan' directed by Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Manithan' fame.
'Iraivan' a psycho thriller is almost fifty percent complete and soon the next schedule of 25 days will begin. Portions involving Nayanthara will be majorly shot and then it will be a wrap. Ashish Vidyarthi plays an important role as a cop.
Earlier it was said that Yuvan Shankar Raja will be composing the music for 'Iraivan' but now Harris Jayaraj has been brought on board. Ahmed and Harris have already collaborated in 'Endrendrum Punnagai' which had super hit songs.
Interestingly Ahmed and Jayam Ravi have also completed fifty percent of another film 'Jana Gana Mana' costarring Tapsee Pannu, Gauthami and Rahman. The project is delayed due to various issues and hence they have now moved on to 'Iraivan'.
