Director Mohan Raja's 'Thani Oruvan' joins the list of rare films that receive unanimous appreciation from fans and critics in every nuke and corner and also become a huge box office success. Today is the glorious 50th day of the film which is still running in prominent theaters across Tamil Nadu even after the release of biggies like 'Puli' in the meantime. The film has collected Rs.75 crores from the box office according to an official press release from the producers.
The phenomenal success of the film can be attributed to the research work done by Mohan Raja and the film's dialogue writer duo Suba and the perfect execution of the fantastic ideas and concepts written in the script. Equal credit goes to the star cast of Arvind Swamy who became the people favorite villain Siddharth Abhimanyu, Jayam Ravi as an upright IPS officer Mithran and the heroine Nayanthara who is a forensic expert and also an inspirational woman who boosts the confidence of the protagonist at a time when he lets himself down. The songs and re-recording of Hip Hop Tamizha Aadhi is a wow factor and the technical team of cinematographer Ramji and Editor Gopikrishna had also given their best support for the film to emerge as a people favourite blockbuster.
It is not only promising but also heartening to see such a well made film backed by good intention, hard work and commitment of a team making the right impact among the people. .
