Jayam Ravi is one of the hottest heroes in Kollywood and elder brother Mohan Raja is a sort of a hit machine whose films have all been successful at the box office.  Now the duo's parents have made their literary debut with father Editor Mohan writing the book "Thani Manithan' and mother Varalakshmi Mohan writing "Veliyattra Vedham' which will be released on December 3rd.

Mohan Raja stated that his father is the superstar for him while Jayam Ravi said that he sees Gandhiji in his mother.  It is a well-known fact that Editor Mohan shaped the careers of both his sons by producing 'Jayam' and establishing them in Kollywood by choosing the right scripts to remake or star in.  Mohan Raja is currently penning the script for his next movie with Jayam Ravi in the lead role and is also acting in an important role in Vijay Sethupathi's 'Yaadhum Oorey Yaavarum Kelir'.

Jayam Ravi is simultaneously shooting for 'Janagana Mana' directed by Ahmed and 'Bhoomi' and will soon join Mani Ratnam's mega multistarrer 'Ponniyin Selvan' costarring Vikram, Karthi, Amitabh Bachchan, Keerthy Suresh, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Prabhu, Jayaram, Parthiban and Aarav Ravi.
