Jayam Ravi’s ‘Miruthan’ trailer review

The opening credits in the trailer  of ‘Miruthan’ directed by Shakthi Soundarajan reads Tamil Cinema’s first Zombie movie and the shots too closely resemble Will Smith’s 2007 blockbuster ‘I am Legend’.

Jayam Ravi the most successful hero of 2015 can do nothing wrong as his screen presence is quite compelling in the getups of a traffic constable and a man infected with the deadly virus.  All said and done the trailer does invoke interest in the viewer and it remains to be seen if the director delivers some new twist in the tried and tested zombie genre which Tamil audiences are quite familiar with mainly due to the deluge of dubbed Hollywood B grade movies.
