Actor Jayam Ravi was last seen on screen in the vigilante thriller Adanga Maru directed by debutant Karthik Thangavel, and the movie had a socially relevant theme of a cop rising against evil youngsters who sexually abuse women and exacts revenge for his losses.

Following the success of Adangamaru, Jayam Ravi has been working on his 24th movie tentatively titled as Komaali, directed by debutant Pradeep Ranganathan and costarring Kajal Aggarwal and Samyuktha Hegde and the movie is produced by Vels Film International.

After this movie, Jayam Ravi's 25th was announced to be Thani Oruvan 2 directed by his brother Mohan Raja and the latest buzz is that following these movies, Jayam Ravi has been reportedly planning to join hands with director Ahmed who had made movies like Endrendrum Punnagai, Manithan and Vamanan.
