Breaking! Jayam Ravi joins LCU?

Lokesh Kanagaraj post the all time blockbuster hit ‘Vikram’ starring Kamal Haasan is the most wanted filmmaker in the country right now.  He has already started shooting his next biggie ‘Thalapathy 67’ starring Vijay from January 2nd onwards.  The film is said to be a multistarrer with such big names as Nivin Pauly, Trisha Krishnan, Sanjay Dutt, Arjun, Mansoor Ali Khan, Mysskin and Gautham Vasudev Menon on board.

Meanwhile a photo of Lokesh Kanagaraj and top hero Jayam Ravi has gone viral on the internet.  It is reported that the busy director met the ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ actor to narrate a script. 

Lokesh Kanagaraj reportedly has also started his own production company and is said to be bankrolling a new project starring Raghava Lawrence and directed by Rathnakumar.  It is also said he is producing a few more films helmed by his assistants and talks were held with Chiyaan Vikram also.

It is still not clear if Ravi has joined the cast of ‘Thalapathy 67’ or is in talks for Lokesh’s production venture.  It may also be for future Lokesh directorials such as ‘Kaithi 2’ , ‘Vikram 3’ and ‘Rolex’ which are on the cards.  Lets wait for the official word.

Jayam Ravi’s next release is Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ on April 28th and his ‘Iraivan’ directed by Ahmed and costarring Nayanthara is also ready for release.  He is simultaneously shooting for ‘Siren’ costarring Keerthy Suresh and ‘JR 30’ directed by M. Rajesh and costarring Priyanka Arul Mohan and Bhumika Chawla.
