Actor Jayam Ravi, basking in glory of the unanimous praise for his latest film Thani Oruvan` is currently shooting for a film that is being directed by Sakthi Soundararajan of Naaigal Jakkiradhai` fame and produced Global Infotainment banner of S.Michael Royappan.

This is the 19th film for Jayam Ravi as an actor and the title of the film has been just announced as Miruthan`. The film stars Lakshmi Menon as the female lead and the talented actress is pairing up with Ravi for the first time. The supporting cast includes Baby Anaikha, Kaali Venkat, Sreeman, RNR Manohar and many others.

The team is currently recording the songs composed by D.Imman with Madhan Karky`s lyrics.

Regarding the status of the film the first schedule has been shot in Ooty for 30 days and the second schedule is all set to begin in Chennai from 18th of this month. The team plans to wrap up the shooting within the end of October.
