Is this the hot heroine and cute title of Jayam Ravi’s next biggie after ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’?

Jayam Ravi who is playing the title role of Arul Mozhi Varman aka Raja Raja Cholan in ‘Ponniyin Selvan 2’ which is all set to release in theaters worldwide on April 28th.   The film directed by Mani Ratnam with A.R. Rahman’s music has a stellar starcast that includes Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha and Aishwarya Lekshmi.

A few days back Vels Films International head Ishari Ganesh on the occassion of his company going public made very important announcements.  One of them is that the production house is bankrolling Jayam Ravi’s biggest budgeted project in his career.

Now more details have emerged on this exciting project ‘JR 32’ made on a budget of 100 Crores.  It is already official that A.R. Rahman will be scoring the music and now it is revealed that Bhuvanesh Arjunan a former associate of Mysskin will be directing the film.  It is said that the fantasy adventure has been titled ‘Genie’ and will be officially announced soon.

Sources say that young Tollywood beauty Krithi Shetty has been approached to play the female lead opposite Jayam Ravi in ‘Genie’.  More details of the rest of the cast and crew is expected in the coming days.
