Jayam Ravi is riding a high wave in his career after his latest film 'Ponniyin Selvan' directed by Mani Ratnam has turned out to be the biggest blockbuster hit ever in Tamil cinema history. He played the title role in the epic historical with Chiyaan Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Trisha playing other major roles.

Meanwhile Jayam Ravi's 29th film was completed a few weeks back and as a Pongal treat to fans the first look with title has been released. As reported by us earlier the film has been titled 'Iraivan' and the new poster shows Ravi in an intense look.

'Iraivan' is directed by Ahmed of 'Endrendrum Punnagai' and 'Manithan' fame with Yuvan Shankar Raja scoring the music and Passion Studios producing on a grand scale. The film has Jayam Ravi and Nayanthara as the lead pair with Hari Vedanth handling the cinematography and Manikandan Balaji taking care of the editing. The release is expected in Summer 2023.
