Jayam Ravi clarifies rumours surrounding him following his divorce!

In a recent development, actor Jayam Ravi has confirmed his separation from his wife, Aarti, after 14 years of marriage. The couple, who tied the knot in 2009, share two sons. While Aarti had earlier expressed that the announcement of their separation was made without her prior knowledge, Jayam Ravi has now addressed the issue and cleared up some of the surrounding rumours.
Ravi clarified the timeline of events, stating, I sent a legal notice through my lawyer, which Aarti's father acknowledged. Both our parents met at our home to discuss the matter. So, itâs surprising they say I wasnât accessible. I was in Chennai for Aaravâs birthday in June, and we celebrated togetherâthere are pictures from the event as proof. I've had an open conversation with Aarav about the situation, though Ayaan is still too young to understand. Naturally, Aarav wants us to stay together.
The actor also addressed rumours linking him to a singer after his divorce announcement. He said, Itâs not right to drag someone else into this. I know her because we were planning to open a spiritual center together. When people try to damage the reputation Iâve built through years of hard work and careful film choices, I can only laugh. While Iâm facing a difficult phase, itâs certainly not the end.
