Today is the 35th birthday of the tall and handsome actor Jayam Ravi and this is definitely one the most memorable birthdays of his life as it comes amidst the accolades pouting in from every nuke and corner for his latest film Thani Oruvan' and his performance as a upright and valorous cop in it.
Ravi who has completed more than a decade as a hero has had three releases this year (Romeo Juleit', Sakalakala Vallavan' and Thani Oruvan') and all of them belonged to different genres and he had altogether different characters in these three films. In his entire career the actor has done varied kind of roles and did justice to each of them with his hard work and dedication. A rural college student (Jayam), a kick boxer (M.Kuamran Son of Mahalakshmi) a London citizen turning as a farmer for his love (Something Something), a father fearing youngster (Santosh Subramanian), a forest ranger belonging to a tribe community who turns the savior of the nation from a foreign threat (Peranmai), an innocent Indian youngster who becomes a scape goat of a crime in Russia (Dhaam Dhoom), the owner of an international business empire having a romantic encounter during his holiday trip (Engeyum Kadhal), a upright youngster who leads a tirade against corruption (Nimirndhu Nil) an underworld leader with feminine attributes (Aadhibhagavan) and last but not least an IPS officer who goes in search of a mightiest enemy…these are some of the varied characters portrayed onscreen by Jayam Ravi with finesse.
Beyond his onscreen image Ravi enjoys the patronage of family audience especially woman as he has hardly resorted to crass and chauvinistic elements in his films. The number of his fan clubs may be limited when compared to super stars and his peer heroes but he is an actor respected and liked by a large section of Tamil movie buffs. This respect and love should have multiplied to a large extent after Thani Oruvan'.
Indiaglitz wishes Jayam Ravi a happy birthday and a career filled with more and more successes and accolades.
