Breaking! Jayam Ravi’s milestone film to be directed by comedy specialist

Jayam Ravi one of the leading heroes of Tamil cinema is hailed for his minimum gaurantee at the box office and his ability to draw in the family crowds.  He is currently playing the title role in Mani Ratnam’s magnum opus ‘Ponniyin Selvan’ which also has Vikram, Karthi, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Aishwarya Lekshmi, Nizhalgal Ravi, Vikram Prabhu, Jayaram, Sarathkumar, Parthiban and Prabhu.

Ravi is now playing the lead in a new movie directed by Kalyan with whom he already worked in ‘Booloham’.  The film which has Priya Bhavani Shankar as the leading lady is nearing completion.

Now the hot news in Kollywood is that Jayam Ravi’s 30th movie will be directed by M. Rajesh and will go on floors in March 2020.  The comedy specialist director gave three back to back blockbuster hits ‘Siva Manasula Shakti’ starring Jiiva, ‘Boss Engira Bhaskaran’ starring Arya and ‘Oru Kal Oru Kannadi’ starring Udhayanidhi Stalin.  

His subsequent films however failed miserably at the box office and it is said that he has come up with a different script that suits Jayam Ravi and is hoping to make a strong comeback with this project.  The rest of the cast and crew details will be out soon.
