It’s a known fact that directors AL Vijay and Bharathiraja each are working on a biopic of former Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. Not only them but Priyadharshini a former associate with Mysskin is also set on making a biopic of Jayalalithaa.

Priyadarshini's film has been titled as ‘The Iron Lady’ and even title motion poster was released. While everyone was eager to know who would be essaying the role of Jayalalithaa, now it has been finalized that Nithya Menen will the one. In addition to this, Varalaxmi Sarathkumar will be essaying an imp[ortant role in the film.

We already saw Nithya Menen giving a stellar performance in Vijay's 'Mersal'. Now we can expect the same in this biopic as well.

The makers who are currently involved in pre-production will begin filming on February 24 which is the former CM’s birthday.
