Is Varalakshmi character denoting Jayalalitha in Sarkar? - TTV clarifies

As 'Sarkar' surpasses one record after another at the global box office, politicians are doing their bit to promote the film by cooking up controversies. Amma Makkal Munnettra Kazhagam president TTV Dinakaran has challenged whether Vijay and Murugadoss would have dared to shoot a scene throwing to fire mixers and grinders given by Jayalalitha to people when she was alive. He pointed out that producers Sun Pictures, A R Murugadoss and Vijay have incorporated such scenes for selling their film and nothing more.

Ironically Dinakaran clarified that the name Komalavalli used for Varalakshmi Sarathkumar's viillain character is not Jayalalitha's name as mentioned in some media. He has explained that Jayalalitha herself has told him when an opposition congress person called her by that name and that she had mentioned not even playing a character by that name.
