Jayalalitha biopic team went for continuous shoots by taking bulk dates of its lead cast and all supporting cast. But they had to stop like others due to the Covid-19 breakout and lockdown.

Now, with extension on the lockdown and possible extension of restrictions on the shoots and work on sets for another month or two, the team will face a tough situation to first take the movie on sets and then bring the actors, it seems.

Mainly, Kangana Ranaut has committed to other films and her dates will be in clash with them, whenever the team goes back to shooting the film again, it seems. While this is a tough thing, they only completed 40% of the shoot and remaining has to be completed at a fast pace to release it before elections, next year it seems. Vijay KL is directing the film with Aravind Swamy playing MGR role.
