Jaya wishes Karthi couple

Tamilnadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa on Sunday visited the residence of actor Karthi Sivakumar to wish him and his wife Ranjani. Karthi and Ranjani got married early last week and Jayalalithaa couldn't attend their wedding. Though the couple gave a reception at Lee Meridian hotel in Chennai, CM couldn't make it to that too due to her prior committments.

The actor and his family were in for a pleasant surprise when CM visited their home to wish them.

Karthi's father and yesteryear actor Sivakumar, Karthi's brother actor Suriya and his wife Jyothika welcomed the Chief Minister. Jaya was at Karthi's residence for sometime.She inquired on the wedding and reception.

We are elated to have such a distinguished personality at our residence. We thank her for her good wishes Karthi told the media in Chennai.

Ever since the end of Karunanidhi regime, Jayalalithaa has been spending time to make good friends with actors in Tamil film industry.
