Kamal's popular heroine is back after nine years

Actress Jaya Prada the top heroine of the 1980s was last seen by Tamil movie buffs in Kamal Haasan's blockbuster 'Dasavatharam'. Now the 'Salangai Oli' actress will acting in a Tamil film after a gap of nine years.

Jaya Prada has apparently given her nod to star in the lead role in a horror-comedy film that will be directed by Neeraj Vohra. This film titled as 'Phir Hera Pheri' in Hindi will be made in Tamil and Telugu languages as well.

This will also be the senior actress's comeback in Telugu film industry after eight years. She was last seen in the Telugu film 'Maharathi' playing mother-in-law to Balakrishna.

Jaya Prada has taken up the project as she was impressed with the humor content of the film and the way her character has been written.
