The audio release function of 'Jaya Janaki Nayaka' was released in Hyderabad on Monday evening. It was graced by the cast and crew members, besides VV Vinayak.
Producer Miryala Ravindar Reddy said, "It's a matter of pride that, in the Telugu film industry, the technicians receive as much respect as star heroes. No matter how much you invest in a Boyapati film, you get back your money. Such is the faith his producers and distributors have in his movies. You can have high expectations from this movie. 'JJN' will definitely meet them. Devi garu is the most dedicated music director. All the seven songs of the album are extraordinary."
Jagapathi Babu said, "Boyapati is like a headmaster who would ask his artistes to stand in a line and explains them what is one going to do in a scene. One goes to the sets waiting for his challenge. He didn't let me just dub and go away. He was there with me to guide me through the entire dubbing process. There is a dialogue in the film which I couldn't say with the right expression. I still don't understand what was wrong with me. The director somehow handled it in post-production. DSP's music is as pure as his heart. With this movie, a star is born. There is a scene wherein Sai Srinivas acted very intensely. I tried to imitate him when I was alone, as I didn't understand how he could pull it off."
Rakul Preet said, "This is definitely a different character that I have played in this film. There is a strong emotional side to my character. I am grateful to Boyapati sir for keeping faith in me. I got to work with him for a second time after 'Sarrainodu'. I have to say that this is going to be Sai Srinivas' best performance till date. He has worked really hard on the film. It's going to be a game-changer in his career. 'Nuvvele Nuvvele' is my favourite song. It was amazing to work with Jagapathi Babu sir and others."
DSP said, "I fell in love with the title at the first instance. This is my fourth film with Boyapati garu. All the elements are in the right proportion in his movies. 'JJN' is also a romantic story. RR is driven by the scenes. I thank Rishi Punjabi garu for the inspiring visuals. There are a few fights in this film which will scare you. They seem to have taken a lot of risk in filming (for) them. Sarathkumar sir's energy always inspires me. We are amazed by his energy. Chandrabose garu wrote 'Nuvvele Nuveela' song in two songs after listening to the tune. Five of the seven songs have been written by Srimani. He did it quite fast. The powerful sound behind my songs is Uday Kumar, my sound engineer."
VV Vinayak said, "We all know that Sai Srinivas can dance well and fight well. But his dialogue-delivery is also very good in the movie. 'Nuv edisthe veedni champestha' ane dialogue chala baga cheppadu. Ravindar Reddy is a producer with a rich taste. Boyapati's being is full of cinema. He is so passionate a director. He was supposed to direct Sai's second movie. All the seven songs are very good. The 'Jaya janaki nayaka' tune has been haunting me. I wish my friend Sarathkumar garu, lyricist Chandrabose and everybody else all the best."
Bellamkonda Srinivas said, "I thank Vinayak uncle for being here. I thank Boyapati garu, who is like my brother. Even though my second film didn't do well, he supported me. It boosted my confidence. He is my real well-wisher. I will always be thankful to him. He could have done a movie with any big star. But he stood by him. I thoroughly enjoy dancing to Devi's tunes. My beautiful co-star Rakul has done an amazing work. Her character will be remembered for long. My father has owned my dream as his. I get emotional when I talk about him."
Boyapati said, "Four wonders have happened in Tollywood this year. 'Kalatapasvi' Viswanath garu getting Dadasaheb Phalke, 'Baahubali-2' happening, 'Legend' playing in one theatre for 1084 days (the only film in South India to have this feat), and Chiranjeevi garu doing 150th film, which collected Rs. 150 Cr. Dasari garu may not be here physically, but his blessings will always be with us. Our industry has produced the likes of Singeetham garu, Muthyala Subbayya garu, Ram Gopal Varma, VV Vinayak garu, Puri Jagannadh, Sukumar, Krishna Vamsi, Surender Reddy and many others. Boyapati is just one of the many directors. We have got great artistes in our country - Chiranjeevi garu, Balayya Babu, Nagarjuna garu, Venkatesh garu, we have Pawan Kalyan, Mahesh Babu, NTR, Nani, Sharwanand, Nikhil and many others. It's because of the Telugu people's love for cinema that we are all here."
He further said, "My hero in 'JJN' is someone who loves his girlfriend the same way as he loves his father, mother and sibling. This film will definitely endear itself to all hearts. There is more to this film than the hero's dances, fights, etc. The character will be your favourite. And Sreenu has played it so very well. My cinematographer sees me as his brother, not as a director. When it's DSP who is the music director, you listen to his music first and see me only later. There is an episode in the movie which we shot at Hamsala Deevi. Hundreds of workers worked in the water for 11 days. It was also dangerous. You won't see such an episode for the next five years in any movie. You will have tears in your eyes watching Rakul's performance. I will work with producer Ravindar Reddy garu once again. There is a scarcity of good producers in our industry."
