Director Atlee who started his film career with the super hit Arya-Nayanthara starrer 'Raja Rani' next collaborated with Thalapathy Vijay in three back to back blockbuster hits 'Theri', 'Mersal' and 'Bigil'. His cent percent track record has fetched him the chance to direct India's biggest superstar Shah Rukh Khan's 'Jawan'.

Already a major portion of the film has been shot in North India and now the next big schedule is commencing in Chennai from August 24th. As reported by us earlier to you Vijay Sethupathi who is the chief antagonist in the film will lock horns with SRK in this schedule. The film has Nayanthara and Priya Mani as the heroines while Yogi Babu also plays a pivotal character.

Now it is confirmed that Bollywood diva Deepika Padukone is also a part of 'Jawan' and she flew to Chennai along with Shah Rukh Khan on Sunday. There has long been a talk that Thalapathy Vijay will be doing a cameo role in the film and if that turns out to be true he too may shoot for his portions in the next couple of weeks.

'Jawan' produced by Red Chillies Entertainment has music by Anirudh Ravichander and production design by T. Muthuraj. The film is planned for a grand worldwide release on June 2nd 2023.
