'Jawaan', starring Sai Dharam Tej and directed by BVS Ravi, is currently in the post-production phase.

The news is that the film's pre-release function will be held on Nov 19 at Hyderabad's People's Plaza, Necklace Road. Who's who from the film industry will be invited to the event as guests. A few surprise guests are going to be seen.

BVS Ravi says, "Many people who have loved the line in the film's teaser have called me up and congratulated me. I have put my heart into the movie. The hero will be seen as a middle-class man. How he saves his family with his gumption and intelligence is what the film is about. Thaman has given excellent tunes. Mehreen is the heroine, while Prasanna has a key role."

Dil Raju says, "This film is going to be another hit in the combination of me and Tej."

Producer Krishna says, "I am glad that I am producing my very first film with Tej."

"Our film tells that, just as the soldier guards the border, every individual should be the protector of his family. All the promotional material that has been released so far have been a hit. This has boosted the morale of the makers. 'Bugganchuna' song has become a top number. For the Mega fans who are waiting for a blockbuster from Supreme Hero Sai Dharam Tej, this film is going to be a treat. We are going to release the film on a big scale on December 1," the makers say.

Jayaprakash and Eeswari will be seen in key roles. Music is by Thaman, while the cinematography is by KV Guhan. Art is by Brahma Kadali. Editing is by SR Sekhar and Madhu. Kalyan Varma Dandu, Sai Krishna and Vamsi Balapanuri have co-written the movie.
