'Jawaan', which hit the screens on Dec 1, has been received to a thumping reception, the makers say.

Producer Krishna is convinced that the film has raked in huge collections on day one across all the centers. We believe that 'Jawaan' has certainly recorded the highest Day 1 grossing in the Mega hero's career," the film's spokesperson says.

What is ticking for the movie? "An engaging narration, the lead actors' performance, Thaman's fascinating music, Tej's heroism, Mehreen's glamor, the family emotions and the patriotic episodes," the source avers.

Coming as it does after 'Thikka' and 'Winner', 'Jawaan' is all the more sweeter for Tej.
