Even after delivering marvellous performances in several iconic films throughout his career, Javed Jaffery has never got the recognition that he truly deserves. He has a unique style of comedy which seems to resonate wel Keith the audience. Javed was rumored to be a part of Sidharth Malhotra's biographical war drama 'Shershah'. The movie is based on the life and exploits of Kargil war hero and Param Vir Chakra winner, Captain Vikram Batra. However, the actor has denied being part of the project.
He stated, "I don’t know how my name came to be involved, but I am not at all associated with that project." He believes that people might have confused 'Sooryavanshi' with 'Shershah'.
When asked about his future films, Javed said, “I am in Akshay and Katrina’s Sooryavanshi, after that I have Bhoot Police with Saif Ali Khan, Arjun Kapoor, Jaqueline Fernandez and Yami Gautam, and a Netflix film called Jaadugar and that should come by October-November this year. In Bhoot Police, I play a no-nonsense cop, who is not funny as such but certain things around him become funny. I have one day of shoot and a song left for that. I have a web series for Hotstar called Escape Lives and that is a kickass project and I also have another web series for Amazon, that should also come around October-November."
