Faria Abdullah, a theatre artist, is all set to debut this month on the big screen. The Telugu-language satirical drama 'Jathi Ratnalu', which will hit the screens on March 11, casts her in an interesting role opposite Naveen Polishetty. As Chitti, the Hyderabadi girl has got a number of important scenes in the film.

In her latest interview, Faria has said that she has got a number of dream roles. And she would like the most to play a psychopath. "I also love dark comedies. Nobody has explored the genre much," Faria says.

Faria's favourite actor is the Mollywood star Fahadh Faasil. In Telugu, she would like to work with Vijay Deverakonda.

Coming to 'Jathi Ratnalu', it happened to her years after 'Mahanati' director and this film's producer Nag Ashwin met her at an event. She got in touch with Ashwin while continuing to do stage shows. 'Jathi Ratnalu', directed by Anudeep KV, also features Rahul Ramakrishna and Priyadarshi.
