Thalapathy Vijay who is married to Sangeetha since 1999 has two children son Jason Sanjay and daughter Divya Saasha born in 2000 and 2005 respecively.   Sanjay has completed his graduation at a prestigious film school in Canada and is reportedly planning to make his directorial debut in the next couple of years.

It has been widely reported that Sanjay's debut movie will have his dad Vijay in the lead role or atleast an extended cameo.  His granddad S.A. Chandrasekharan has revealed in his latest interview that he too posed the same question to his grandson that he is lucky to have a suprerstar dad who will give call sheet to him and his  (Sanjay's) reply surprised him.

According to SAC with whom his wife Shobha was also present, Sanjay had informed him that his father will not be the hero of his first film because his choice is Makkal Selvan Vijay Sethupathi.  The veteran director has proudly stated thats how his bloodline will work as he is known for films starring lesser known actors and made the careers of Vijayakanth and Vijay among others.
