The final trailer of Sony Marvel collaboration's 'Morbius' starring Jared Leto has been dropped by the makers recently. The trailer reveals how Dr Michael Morbius (Leto) turns into a blood-lusting Vampire. The description of the video read, "Let go of what you used to be. Discover who you’re meant to be."

Following the footsteps of Tom Hardy's Venom, Leto's Morbius is also expected to be an anti-hero who will struggle to come to terms with his powers and will question his own motives. The film is based on the much-loved Marvel Comicbook character, the superhero flick revolves around a biochemist who turns into a vampire after curing himself of a rare blood disease.

Sony Pictures officially revealed the final trailer for Morbius, showcasing fresh new looks at the titular vampire alongside several connections to the wider Marvel universe. The two-minute trailer offers the best look yet at Morbius' final vampire form, with the character's action sequences taking centre stage.

The movie's cast includes Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Tyrese Gibson, Al Madrigal and Jared Harris. Directed by Daniel Espinosa, the movie was originally scheduled to release in July 2020 before Venom: Let There Be Carnage and Spider-Man: No Way Home but was pushed back due to Covid complications and is finally set to come out on April 1, 2022.
