Janhvi Kapoor to team up with Premam director?

In a recent interview with a popular news daily, Bollywood diva Janhvi Kapoor revealed that she wants to work with the Malayalam's hit maker film director Alphonse Puthren. In the interview, the actress expressed her fondness on south Indian Cinema and was all praise for Premam director Alphonse Puthren. The actress excitedly said that she loved the director's super hit movie 'Premam' and that she was eagerly waiting to team up with him for a project.

The 2015 release Premam explores infatuation and love of a George (Nivin Pauly) from school days to his adulthood. The movie was a blockbuster hit and changed the face of the Malayalam cinema. The coming of age love story starring Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi, Anupama Parameshwaran and Madonna Sebastian won rave responses from critics, movie buffs, celebs and the audience alike.

Coming back to Janvi's interview, the actress also shared her wish to work with critically acclaimed Tamil filmmaker Vetrimaaran. On the other side, Jahnvi is awaiting the release of ‘Good Luck Jerry’, slated to hit the big screens on July 29. Good Luck Jerry is a remake of the Tamil film ‘Kolamaavu Kokila’ that starred Nayanthara and Yogi Babu in the lead roles. The Hindi remake, directed by Siddharth Sengupta, came to Janhvi Kapoor at the time when she was craving to do a comedy movie. As you know, Janhvi had previously starred in "Roohi", the 2021 horror comedy.
