Janhvi Kapoor remembers her late mother Sridevi on 'Koffee With Karan'

The latest episode of popular talk show 'Koffee With Karan' featured two of the most successful new generation actresses of Bollywood, Sara Ali Khan and Janhvi Kapoor. During the conversation with host Karan Johar, Janhvi remembered her late mother and iconic actress Sridevi and shared how life has been without her.

The actress revealed that her half siblings Arjun and Anshula Kapoor supported her during the tough times after her mother's demise in 2017. She said, I think it would have been an impossibility to have to go through that without Anshula didi and Arjun bhaiya. Nothing can make up for the loss that I have endured I think. But it’s a new dynamic. I think I am a different person.”

Recalling the good times she spent with her mother, Janhvi said, “It almost feels that the person I was when mom was around was a fantasy. And the life I had then was a fantasy. I mean, of course, there were issues like every family has, but it was idyllic and it seems almost like a dream.”

“I don’t think I have dealt with it to be honest, and I should but I’m happier than I’ve been in a long time,” she concluded.
