Janhvi Kapoor on how actors can be deluded despite giving bad performances

Janhvi Kapoor is one of the most popular stars of new generation of Bollywood and she is gradually cementing her place in the industry. Janhvi has been a part of several exciting films and she tries to keep variety in her filmography by trying a new kind of role with every film. However, despite delivering good performances in films like 'Good Luck Jerry' and 'Mili', Janhvi doesn't feel like she has made it yet.

In a recent media interaction, the actress shared that in today's time, there are several factors which can delude actors into believing that they have killed it despite giving a bad performance. Janhvi told Bollywood Bubble, "In this day and age, you can’t value yourself based on the result because… and this might bite me in the a*s to say this but I think there’s so much machinery behind everything to make even agar aap rubbish bhi kar lo (even if you do rubbish work), there’ll be enough noise to make you feel like you have killed it in life and you’ll kill it in life. There’ll be enough noise to make you feel like you suck so I try not to value myself based on the result so much.”

She further stated how she draws her confidence from learning new things rather having good box office numbers. “Results se confidence nahi milta mujhe. Experience karne se, process se, seekh milne se mujhe confidence milta hai," she stated.
