It has been rumoured widely that Janhvi Kapoor, late Sridevi's daughter, will be debuting in Telugu. A few unconfirmed reports added that she recently said no to 'Fighter', the Vijay Deverakonda film directed by Puri Jagannadh. Certain baseless reports also claimed that the 'Dhadak' beauty rejected two projects opposite Ram Charan and Mahesh Babu earlier.
In this context, the Bollywood actress' father, Boney Kapoor, has made certain remarks. “The Kapoor family loves South Indian movies. Sridevi did a number of films in Telugu and other languages. She shared excellent rapport with the likes of Krishna garu and Chiranjeevi garu, among other stars. We and Mahesh Babu share a great respect towards each other," he said.
He added that his daughter is ready to do South Indian films should she get exiting offers.
"We are looking for that opportunity to come, but so far that has not happened. All the rumours about my daughter rejecting movies of top stars and not wanting to work in the South are baseless," he clarified.
