'Janatha Garage' sets a record

'Janatha Garage' is as yet NTR's most ambitious film. If the Nandamuri actor is looking at making it the biggest grosser of his career, Mohanlal's presence is only helping its market in Kerala and the Gulf, where many Malayali and Telugu NRIs are working.

On Sept 1, the film will be released in a record 48 theatres in UAE alone. This is both the Malayalam and Telugu versions combined. This is apparently the biggest release for a Telugu movie in that country.

Directed by Koratala Siva, this one's release was advanced by a day owing to the Sept 2 nation-wide bandh call given by trade unions. With such a humongous release, the film is bracing up to shake many a record.
