The audio of 'Janatha Garage' was released at a grand event held in Shilpa Kala Vedika, Hyderabad. The likes of Dil Raju, BVSN Prasad, PVP, Vakkantham Vamsi and others graced the event, besides the star cast and crew members of the film, barring Mohanlal and Samantha.

Speaking through a recorded video, Mohanlal said, "I am sorry for being unable to attend the evening. I am busy during this Onam season. Working for this film has given me several fond memories. I feel blessed to have known you all (the cast and crew members). I got an opportunity to work with some of the best in the industry, be it NTR, Koratala Siva, Thirru, Nithya Menen, Samantha, or others. They all supported me during the making of this movie".

Sai Kumar peppered his speech with anecdotes. "It was in 1974 that I first dubbed for a character in an NTR movie. I again got the opportunity to be beaten up by NTR garu in his last film, 'Major Chandrakanth'. I later got the opportunity to work with Balayya babu in 'Rowdy Inspector'. Then came Kalyan Ram's 'Pataas'. I had been waiting to work with NTR. With this film, my wish has been fulfilled. It was at a 1993 TANA event where Jr. NTR performed a Classical dance that I first met him. I played Karna that day. I sat at (Senior) NTR garu's foot and spoke a lengthy line", he said.

Nithya Menen said, "I am seeing this big a crowd for the first time. It's very difficult for me to speak in front of so many people. I am very happy that my first big hero is Tarak. Many people would ask me as to when I was going to work with NTR. I have finally done it. DSP, the hero of this evening, is full of energy. Thirru sir, I love you. You know I love you. Whenever I direct a film, you should be the choreographer. Koratala Shiva garu gave me a very good characterization. I always wanted to do such a character in a mass film like this".

Koratala Shiva said, "This is like a family function to me. This film is very special to me. My relationship with 'annayya' is special. I call him 'annayya' even though I am elder to him. I wrote 'Brindavanam' for him. I didn't get an opportunity to speak back then. It was NTR who introduced me to the public on the dais at audio launch of that film. My friends congratulated me for getting introduced by someone like him. My pen would naturally write more and better for him. During pre-production stage, he would give me excitement whenever I narrated a scene. That would make me write better in the hope of seeing excitement in him. My relationship with him will be permanent. As a child, I watched Mohanlal garu's films like 'Kalapani'. I got to say 'Action' for scenes involving Mohanlal and NTR. Naku chala sudi undhi. Samantha and Nithya are beautiful. People say I am successful. The thing is, I get to work with the best teams. Thirru sir is one of the best technicians I have ever seen. Every day, I learnt a lot from Thirru sir. Art director Prakash has traveled with me from the beginning. Chanti garu (Kotagiri) is a hardworking editor who never stops working. Rockstar DSP garu gave the tune for 'Pranaamam' then and there even as I narrated the concept. I thought he was giving BGM. But he was already composing the song. I am predicting that our film will be a blockbuster".

DSP began with rendering 'Pranaamam' from the film. He said, "I have music-directed Mirchi and Srimanthudu as well. I thank Ramajogayya Sastry for penning excellent lyrics. I thank my singers. Finally, I thank my dear friend, Tarak. It's very fun working with him. He is a friend with whom I share my joys and sorrows".

NTR said, "After 'Nannaku Prematho', I saw several photos of my fans doing 'palabhisekham' to my cut-outs. That is what should be done to Gods. I am your brother. I sincerely urge you all to instead donate the milk to orphans. Thousands of pregnant women have no milk to drink. Also, don't kill animals in 'bali'. Instead, organize 'anna danams' at theatres. I hope you fans will do that", Young Tiger said in an emotional speech.

In his characteristic style, NTR thanked his fans as soon as he began the speech. "I always believe I can salvage my debt to you. But I know I can't in this lifetime. I want to be born again and again to repay you the debt. In this life, I was blessed to be born as the grandson of a great man, as the son of a great mother and father", he said.

"This is the season of Pushkarams, which is a once-in-twelve-years ritual. I didn't understand where I was going in the initial days of my career. Everything seemed well when I was young. God teaches us things by giving us a jolt. When I was going through a low patch, Vakkantham Vamsi narrated me a story. Even though Puri Jagannadh could have written a story on his own, he believed in Vamsi's story. Thus came 'Temper'. I could see light at the end of the tunnel. That was 'Temper'. Then came 'Nannaku Prematho'. There is a brighter light in vision. It's 'Janatha Garage'. These films have/are taken/taking me nearer to my destination. We can't always plan the things. Koratala had told me this story two years ago. I couldn't do it because of my prior commitments. I heard this story when I was busy with acting in would-be flops", he said.

Young Tiger further said, "A fan has said through a poster that reversing the letters means - 'Rabhasa', 'Temper', 'Nannaku Prematho', and 'Janatha Garage'. I am feeling happy that this film is coming after the auspicious Pushkarams. God must have predetermined all this. If a writer stops writing, an actor would have no work. It's the director who materializes a story. I am very happy that Siva is one of the few directors who can also write so well. I don't need to talk about his track record. I feel lucky that I got to work with a great actor (Mohanlal). Mohanlal garu is a great man. I had the opportunity to travel with him for six months. Mohanlal garu is the most blissful, most child-like soul. DSP is one of the few persons who is so passionate about work. His dedication is amazing. I got to work with Samantha and Nithya, who are fine actresses. Nithya is one of the finest actresses we have. The producers are very good producers, very good human beings. PC Sriram garu is my favourite cinematographer. 'Kshatriya Putrudu' is my favourite film. Thirru garu had worked as an assistant for that film. I am glad he is the cinematographer for 'Janatha Garage'.
