Young actors Jai and Anjali who struck the heartstrings of the audience with their beautiful chemistry and lively performance in 'Engeyum Eppodhum' are pack with 'Baloon' which is ready to hit the screens on September 27th. The film directed by debutant Sinish also stars JananiIyer in an important role.
Now it has been revealed that the portions of Janani's character are set in the 1980s. The 'Avan Ivan' Actress speaks about her character in the film:
"My portion in the movie is set in the 1980's and was shot entirely in Kodaikkanal. I play a girl who is orthodox and falls in love with Jai's character. Myself and the director wanted to incorporate something special into my character. After a lot of discussion, the reference that was given to me was that of the role played by Sridevi madam in 'Moondram Pirai'. We mutually agreed that it would be literally impossible to re create the performance of the legendary actress. But that reference helped me to get the best out of me. Such is the inspiration. It's a great role and i loved it. I am sure the audience will love this movie and my role and performance will be appreciated."
'Balloon' is jointly produced by "70 mm entertainment " and " Farmer's Master plan Productions". "Auraa cinemas" will release 'Balloon' in a grand way on September 27th. Yuvan Shankar Raja has provided the music score for the film.
