Jana Sena urges activists to reach out to Kerala

Amidst the ravage caused by floods in Kerala, Jana Sena party has urged its followers and activists to extend all possible help to those affected in Kerala floods. In this regard, the Political Affairs Committee of JSP has said that it considers the ongoing disaster as a result of damage being done to the environment by mankind.

At a meeting today at the party office in Madhapur, the PAC instructed the activists to lend new clothes, food grains and medicines to Keralites. It opined that the relief activists should form numerous teams. "It's requested of followers to celebrate our leader's birthday on Sep 2 by not just organizing charity works in the Telugu states but a few for the brothers and sisters in Kerala too," the PAC noted.

In the same meeting, it was said that Pawan Kalyan's Porata Yatra, to be resumed from August 23 in West Godavari district, has been postponed due to bad weather. The politician is scheduled to tour Jangareddy Gudem, Chintalapudi and Polavaram in the district.
