James Vasanthan in Malayalam

It is indeed a big fact that the best and most heard song in Kerala, last year was a Tamil song. Yes “Kanakal Iranthaal” of ‘Subrahmaniapuram’ was the most heard song in Kerala and the song that was used as ring tones in most of the Kerala mobiles. Moreover, with the super success of the movie, the music director also became a noted name in a very short time.

Anyway for the music enthusiasts of Kerala, this news about the coming of James Vasanthan to Mollywood will be definitely an interesting one. James will be giving music to the movie ‘Doubles’ featuring Mammootty and Nadhiya Moidhu as twins. Directed by debutante Sohanlal, the movie will feature four songs set to music by James Vasanthan in the lyrics of Vayalar Sharath Chandra Varma.

Let's hope, the arrival of such a big name give some boost to the already struggling music industry of the state.
