James Cameron has given some long awaited updates about his forthcoming projects at the press conference for his 'James Cameron's Story of Science Fiction' a six part docu-series. The Oscar Winning filmmaker has shared that he has finished about 100 days of production on 'Avatar 2' and 'Avatar 3' and that both the sequels will be shot simultaneously. He has added that he even has the stories ready for parts 4 and 5 and the story would play like 'The Godfather' and will be a family saga spanning generations after the characters in the first part Jack Sully and Nythri played by Sam Worthington and Zoe Zaldana respectively marry.
James Cameron has also updated the status of 'Terminator 6' stating "“We’re developing a new Terminator film. And The Terminator films are all about artificial intelligence. But I would say we’re looking at it differently than when I wrote the first story in 1982. That was just your classic ‘technology bad, smart computers bad’ kind of thing. Nowadays though – it’s got to be a much more nuanced perspective. So its ‘Smart computers bad… BUT…’ That’s the new motif.”
