It has taken almost eight years for James Cameron to begin pre-production of the sequel to his pathbreaking global super hit ‘Avatar’. He had also officially announced that there will be three more films to follow ‘Avatar 2’ with release dates beginning from December 2019 to December 2025.
However there has been a long delay for filming to begin and in his most recent interaction James Cameron has stated that the first two sequels are going to be shot underwater and is very challenging. He has also cast a shadow of doubt about the fourth and the fifth films asserting that only if ‘Avatar 2&3’ go on to become major hits and make a lot of money the other films will proceed.
