Actor Jai was last seen in the action comedy Jarugandi, directed by debutant Pichumani and produced by actor Nithin Sathya. Currently busy with multiple movies like Venkat Prabhu's Party, Neeya 2, Jai is all set to make his Malayalam debut as well.

Jai will be playing a crucial role in Madhura Raja, the upcoming movie of Malayalam Megastar Mammootty. Jai recently shot for the movie and this movie directed by Vyshak of Pulimurugan fame is an action packed mass entertainer and Jai will have many sequences with Mammootty.

The movie is the sequel to 2010 superhit Pokiri Raja that starred Mammootty and Prithviraj in lead roles, and this sequel has Prithviraj in a cameo, and Sunny Leone will be seen in a special song. Madhura Raja is planned as an April release for Vishu festival and it's TN release will be managed by RK Suresh reportedly.
