Superstar Rajinikanth merged forces with Sun Pictures once again after 'Annaatthe' for his 169th project titled 'Jailer' directed by 'Beast' fame Nelson Dilipkumar with music by Anirudh Ravichander. The film's shooting commenced in August month in Chennai and moved to Cuddalore later.

The star cast comprises Ramya Krishnan, Vasanth Ravi, Vinayakan, Saravanan, Aranthangi Nisha and Yogi Babu in important roles. Sources tell us that Kannada superstar Shiva Rajkumar and young actress Mirna Menon will also be playing crucial characters in 'Jailer'. More details on this project are awaited.
