Director Vetrimaran has started shooting his ambitious project 'Vada CHennai' starring Dhanush and Samantha in lead roles. The first schedule that began last month has been progressing in a huge jail set erected in Binny Mills, Chennai.

Now we learn from a reliable source that the film will have a lot of portions shot in the jail. This jail set will be retained in all the three parts of this mammoth project planned as a trilogy.

'Vada Chennai' is the story of 30-35 years of North Chennai's underworld politics

The film's cast ensemble includes Andrea, Samuthirakani, Daniel Balaji, Kishore, Karunas, Pawan and many others. Santhosh Narayanan will be rendering the musical score.

Looks like apart from these highly talented actors, the 'Vada Chennai' trilogy will also a fixed character in the form of this jail.
